Hi, fellow Belly Breather! ~

Welcome to my wellness blog where I share tips, thoughts, and my personal journey in becoming a more mindful person. As someone who’s an over-thinker, easily agitated, and often anxious, relaxation and self-care don’t come naturally to me. Some days, it takes all of me to overcome a negative thought, and yes, those types of thoughts always quickly snowball!

If this blog is able to help even one person feel better about themselves and explore how they can further their journey in mindfulness, then my mission would be accomplished. It’s a tough, crazy world out there and a little kindness to others and ourselves go a long way.

Remember, every moment is an opportunity to lean into ourselves, open our hearts, and find balance in our lives. As Lao Tzu said,

“If you are depressed you are living in the past.
If you are anxious you are living in the future.
If you are at peace you are living in the present.”

Life is happening in the present, and if you don’t stop to breathe then you’ll let your life pass you by. It’s time to “cherish the now”; it’s time to breathe through your belly again.
